It was a good month. We watched Firstborn graduate, I began my final three-year term as state union president, and my Favorite and I began exploring what it is like to parent adult children.

I’m excited about the "Musings" section of my website. I’ve added more than 100 pictures since making the move over there, and once or twice a week, I feel emboldened to pontificate. Having a smaller, curated audience allows me to explore my writing in entirely new ways—shaking off the dust, sharpening my skills, and getting back to the very thing that has always brought me solace, joy, and meaning. Of course, it means I have to keep a close eye on who joins, but the effort is well worth the reward. If you want to see my daily pictures, feel free to click on “Musings”.
